
The Daouli Drum (also spelled Doli or Douli and sometimes know as a Duval drum) is a traditional percussion instrument often used in Greek, Turkish and Balkan music. It is a double sided drum played with mallets.

Construction:
Features a plywood shell and goatskin head, making it durable and stable for students, folk ensembles and professional musicians. The tensioning of the skin can be varied by use of the nylon tensioning strap.
Usage:
It is a double-headed drum played with mallets, often accompanied by woodwinds like the zournas or gaida.
