Beautifully detailed bookends made in the Tuscan city of Volterra – the heart of Italy’s alabaster district.

Made of recomposed stone – alabaster and marble powder combined with the durable binding properties of resin. Each figure displays a level of detail that sets them apart from all others.

The artisan workshops have been operated in Volterra by three generations of the sculptor, Arnaldo Giannelli’s family for over 60 years.
